We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery in Middlesbrough seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspirational Nursery Manager to lead their team and oversee the day-to-day running of a busy, welcoming setting.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a nursery that places children, families and staff at the heart of everything they do.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team of early years professionals.
  • Ensuring the nursery consistently delivers exceptional standards of care and education.
  • Maintaining compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
  • Managing occupancy, budgets and overall nursery performance.
  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider community.
  • Supporting staff through coaching, supervision and professional development.
  • Creating a positive, safe and nurturing environment for children and colleagues alike.

About You

We're looking for someone who has

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable).
  • Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience preparing for and managing Ofsted inspections.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality childcare and supporting children's development.
