We are currently recruiting for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Junior School in Derby starting in September 2026. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils across Key Stage 2, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted support where needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities
- Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support learning
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Assisting with the preparation of learning resources
- Providing pastoral support to help pupils develop both academically and socially
