Are you a caring, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity in Slough? EmpowerED is recruiting an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Slough, supporting children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). This is an excellent opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping pupils with complex needs thrive in a nurturing, specialist environment.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Slough, you will work alongside experienced teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals, providing personalised support that enables every pupil to achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Support pupils with PMLD, complex learning needs and physical disabilities throughout the school day.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learning and care plans.
- Assist with communication, sensory activities and engaging learning experiences.
- Support pupils with personal care, mobility and medical needs where required (training can be provided).
- Build positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, valued and confident.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families to provide outstanding care and education.
