The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: * Support pupils with SEMH needs both in the classroom and through targeted interventions. * Build positive, trusting relationships that promote confidence, emotional regulation and engagement. * Help deliver personalised learning and behaviour support strategies. * Encourage pupils to develop social skills, resilience and independence. * Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families to ensure the best outcomes for every child. The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant We would love to hear from you if you have: * Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker, Care Worker or Support Worker. * Experience supporting children with SEMH, SEND or additional learning needs. * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. * A calm, patient and resilient approach. * A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
