As a Teaching Assistant in High Wycombe, you will work alongside experienced teachers and specialist professionals to provide individualised support to pupils across the school’s primary or secondary provision. Your day as a Teaching Assistant could involve:
- Supporting pupils with severe and complex learning needs
- Working with children and young people with complex autism
- Supporting communication using books, symbols and communication devices

- Supporting learning through practical and play-based activities
- Building positive, consistent relationships with pupils
- Supporting pupils with their individual physical, social and emotional needs
- Working alongside teachers, Speech & Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists
