The Marketing Manager will play a key role in owning the marketing plan and activity roadmap, prioritising work to ensure marketing effort is aligned to business goals and delivers maximum impact. They will deliver day-to-day marketing activities that support our strategic objectives, with a focus on content creation, execution and optimisation of campaigns across digital and traditional channels, brand management and website management. The Marketing Manager will ensure that all marketing initiatives are implemented effectively, on time, and aligned with brand standards. The Marketing Manager will bring experience working as a standalone marketer or in a small marketing team and a proven ability to manage end-to-end marketing activity with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Execution: Implement marketing campaigns across all digital platforms. Create and design content for social media posts. Manage scheduling, posting, and monitoring of content across all channels.
- Content Creation & Brand: Create and update marketing collateral, case studies, and newsletters. Support the content development for blogs and email campaigns using Mailchimp. Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistency of tone, messaging, and visual identity across all marketing outputs.
- Website & Digital Maintenance: Update website content with news articles when relevant and team updates. Monitor SEO performance and implement basic optimisation actions.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track campaign performance and prepare regular reports on engagement, reach, and ROI. Use insights to recommend improvements for future campaigns.
- Event & Project Support: Assist in planning and coordinating customer events and awards submissions. Support marketing-led projects such as case studies and testimonials.
- Sales & Team Collaboration: Support sales and partner teams with campaigns, content, and materials that drive pipeline and engagement and support business objectives. Align marketing activity to commercial priorities and target audiences. Confidently manage multiple internal stakeholders, setting clear expectations and timelines while balancing competing priorities. Liaise with external agencies and suppliers as needed.
- Internal Communications: Manage the content creation and dissemination on the company’s internal intranet channel on Microsoft Teams. Manage the announcements of team birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and relevant Community information and news.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong communication skills, able to build effective internal relationships.
- 5+ years proven experience in a marketing manager role/marketing execution across digital and social channels.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as Mailchimp, Canva, Adobe, Microsoft Teams, WordPress and social scheduling tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Proactive and positive, solutions-oriented, brings a can-do attitude.
