Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Juniper Consultant to join our team onsite in Stockley Park, London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality network design and implementation services, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD), for Juniper-based network infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Architecture:
- Develop and document HLD and LLD for Juniper-based network solutions.
- Provide design leadership and ensure alignment with customer requirements and industry best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend network enhancements and optimizations.
- Implementation & Support:
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of Juniper devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Conduct onsite troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Support post-deployment activities and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and client stakeholders.
- Produce detailed technical documentation and reports.
- Conduct informal workshops and training sessions for client teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience with Juniper Networks technologies (MX, SRX, EX series).
- Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
- Experience in creating and delivering HLD and LLD documentation.
- Familiarity with network security principles and Juniper security platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Juniper certifications (e.g., JNCIP, JNCIE) are highly desirable.
Desirable:
- Experience in multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Palo Alto, etc.).
- Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Python scripting).
- Previous experience in a Resident Consultant or similar onsite role.
