Empowered Personnel are recruiting Machine Operatives for a well-established manufacturing company based in Coventry (CV6). This role offers a long-term, stable position within a fast-paced production environment with career progression opportunities.
Duration: Long Term
Pay Rate: £15.36 (£31,948 per annum)
Shifts: Rotating – Monday to Friday – 6AM-2PM / 2PM-10PM / 10PM-6AM
Overtime: Available at premium rates
Machine Operative Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Operate and monitor production machinery efficiently as a Machine Operative. Carry out basic machine maintenance including cleaning and minor adjustments. Identify and report any equipment faults, breakdowns, or production issues promptly.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular quality checks for defects or inconsistencies. Complete all required quality documentation accurately and on time.
- Packing & Despatch: Prepare, label, and pack products for despatch safely and securely. Maintain accurate despatch and inventory records.
Machine Operative Requirements:
- Physically fit – able to lift up to 15kg.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
