Empowered Personnel is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established operation based in Old Dalby.

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,396 – £27,000 per annum DOE

Location: Old Dalby, LE14

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00

Important Information:

  • Successful applicants will be required to complete the following checks:
    • A 5-year employment/identity history check
    • A DBS check

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload inbound shipments and move products to designated storage locations
  • Pick and prepare products for dispatch, ensuring correct quantities and items are shipped
  • Carry out picking duties efficiently while meeting customer service standards
  • Operate barcode scanners to ensure accurate order picking and inventory control
  • Assist with physical stock counts and ensure correct stock rotation
  • Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage, reporting any quality issues
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and orderly warehouse environment
  • Carry out other general warehouse duties as required

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Good organisational and time-management abilities
  • Experience with inventory control
  • Confident using barcode scanners
  • Counterbalance and/or Bendi FLT licence (desirable but not essential)
