Empowered Personnel is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established operation based in Old Dalby.
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,396 – £27,000 per annum DOE
Location: Old Dalby, LE14
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00
Important Information:
- Successful applicants will be required to complete the following checks:
- A 5-year employment/identity history check
- A DBS check
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload inbound shipments and move products to designated storage locations
- Pick and prepare products for dispatch, ensuring correct quantities and items are shipped
- Carry out picking duties efficiently while meeting customer service standards
- Operate barcode scanners to ensure accurate order picking and inventory control
- Assist with physical stock counts and ensure correct stock rotation
- Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage, reporting any quality issues
- Maintain a clean, tidy and orderly warehouse environment
- Carry out other general warehouse duties as required
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good organisational and time-management abilities
- Experience with inventory control
- Confident using barcode scanners
- Counterbalance and/or Bendi FLT licence (desirable but not essential)
