Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 to 17:00. Flexible hours available (e.g. 8:00am 4:00pm, 9:00am 5:00pm).

Empowered Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of our valued client for a Purchasing & Supply Co-ordinator to join their successful and growing Head Office team in Hinckley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, stock control or office administration who is looking to develop a long-term career within buying and supply chain management.

The Role

As the Purchasing & Supply Co-ordinator, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth running of purchasing and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for managing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring stock levels and supporting inventory planning to ensure products are available when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase orders from placement through to delivery.
  • Monitor stock levels and support inventory replenishment.
  • Assist with stock forecasting and demand planning.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier and product records.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Team to ensure deliveries are received and processed efficiently.
  • Liaise with Sales, Customer Service and Warehouse teams regarding stock availability and delivery schedules.
  • Produce purchasing, supplier and stock reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and supply chain efficiency.
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with company procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the Head Office Buying Team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within purchasing, procurement, buying, stock control, supply chain or office administration.
