Counterbalance Forklift Driver – Training into V10 High Level Order Picker
Location: Coventry, CV3
Position Type: Long Term Ongoing
Pay Rate: £14.76 per hour on all shifts with paid breaks
Multiple Shifts Available:
- Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00 & 14:00 to 22:00 (rotating weekly)
- Monday to Friday 18:00 to 02:00 (static shift)
- Monday to Friday 16:00 to 00:00 (static shift)

Empowered Personnel is currently recruiting FLT Counterbalance drivers to join a thriving warehouse team in Coventry, with full training provided to become a V10 High Level Order Picker. What’s involved?
This role is approximately 85% warehouse duties and 15% FLT Counterbalance operation. As a valued team member, you’ll be hands-on and actively involved in warehouse processes while developing new skills.
FLT Counterbalance Duties Include:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck for loading, unloading, and general stock movement.
- Using RF scanners to track goods and maintain stock accuracy.
- Ensuring warehouse safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Supporting the team with general warehousing tasks when not on the truck.
What we’re looking for:
- A valid FLT Counterbalance license or in house license accepted.
- You must have previous FLT Counterbalance experience and recently worked on a FLT Counterbalance truck to be considered for this role.
- Strong attention to detail with a safety-first attitude.
- Willingness to be trained as a V10 High Level Order Picker.
- A proactive approach, great communication skills, and a team spirit.
- Flexibility to work in a role that combines physical warehouse work with FLT driving.
