Class 2 Driver - Coventry

Contract: 12‑week temporary to permanent
Pay: £17.00 per hour (temporary) | £19.22 per hour (permanent)
The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering palletised goods to retail stores using a manual Class 2 vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Drive a manual Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
- Deliver palletised goods to retail stores
- Complete an average of 4–6 drops per day
- Handball goods where required
- Use a pump truck to assist with deliveries
- Work shifts of approximately 10–12 hours
- Start times between 4:00 am and 6:00 am
- Complete approximately 3–4 nights out per month (£25 night‑out allowance)
Pay & Benefits
- Temporary (first 12 weeks) – £17.00 per hour. Estimated annual earnings: £44,200–£53,040.
- Permanent – £19.22 per hour. Estimated annual earnings: £49,972–£59,966.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points
