Empowered Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of a family-run fuel distribution business based in Lichfield. Our client is looking for reliable and professional Class 2 ADR Drivers to start their career within Fuel Tanker deliveries and join their growing team. Whether you’re newly qualified or experienced, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company that offers flexibility, support, and long-term stability.
Key Duties for ADR Class 2 Fuel Tanker Driver:
- Average start time of 5:00 to 5:30am daily
- Multi drop deliveries of fuel to domestic, agricultural, and commercial customers
- Delivery of white petrol to construction sites and gas/oil to farms and residential properties
- All deliveries are local across the Midlands, typically within a 40–50 mile radius
- Vehicle will be fully loaded before departure
- Safe loading and unloading in accordance with ADR regulations and health & safety guidelines
- Daily vehicle checks and maintaining tanker cleanliness and safety
- Accurate completion of paperwork and delivery records
- Providing excellent customer service on all delivery sites
ADR Class 2 Fuel Tanker Driver Shift Patterns Available:
- 5-day working pattern – average shift: 9.5 to 11 hours
- 4 day working pattern – average shift: 12 hours
- Regular overtime available
Requirements for ADR Class 2 Fuel Tanker Driver:
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- ADR Licence with Class 3 – Flammable Liquids
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Knowledge of Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive, and Road Traffic Laws
- Newly qualified ADR drivers welcome – full training will be available
- Previous fuel delivery experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
