Empowered Personnel is currently recruiting a Class 1 ADR Fuel Tanker Driver for a respected, family run fuel distribution business based in Lichfield. Our client is looking for a professional and safety focused Class 1 ADR Fuel Tanker Driver to carry out nationwide deliveries of petrol and diesel to service stations and retail parks across the UK. Role Overview Class 1 ADR Fuel Tanker Driver:
- Start time 02:30am
- Nationwide multi-drop deliveries of petrol and diesel
- Delivering to forecourts, service stations, and retail park fuel outlets across the UK
- Safe loading/unloading in line with ADR and health & safety regulations
- Accurate completion of all delivery paperwork and compliance records
- Daily vehicle checks and maintaining tanker cleanliness
- Providing excellent service at each site
Working Pattern & Hours:
- 5-day working pattern – average shift: 9.5 to 11 hours
- 4-day working pattern – average shift: 12 hours
- Regular overtime opportunities available
Requirements for Class 1 ADR Fuel Tanker Drivers:
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid ADR Licence with Class 3 – Flammable Liquids
- Valid PDP
- Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive, and UK road laws
- Forecourt delivery experience is preferred but training will be provided
- Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service
- Newly qualified ADR drivers welcome
