About the Role:
Empowered Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Project Co-Ordinator to join a fast-paced, dynamic team in Bromsgrove. As a Project Co-Ordinator, you will directly support the Installation Manager by organising and coordinating with sub-contract fitting crews, access equipment providers and internal Project Managers. This is a permanent role where you will provide vital organisational support to a busy department, helping overcome logistical and on-site challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with sub-contract fitting crews, access equipment providers, and internal Project Managers to coordinate on-site activities.
- Distribute proposal drawing packs to crews before on-site work commences.
- Ensure crews have up to date schedules of works and reissue revised schedules when changes occur.
- Organise access equipment requests for the week ahead, submitting POs with detailed delivery instructions and site contact details.
- Monitor and control plant and labour on a weekly basis, arranging off-hire of access equipment once jobs are completed.
- Track and review daily site progress, comparing completion photos with initial site pictures, and report any issues to the Installation Manager.
- Coordinate labour for weekly safety inspections of sites and on-site engineers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues and contractors.
- Provide general organisational and administrative support to the department.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Previous production planning or scheduling experience is required.
- Familiarity with on-site tools and plant equipment is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent planning, time management and organisational abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Client-focused, adaptable, and able to work effectively under pressure.
