We’re looking for a dedicated EmPowerBall League Ambassador to support the players' health and wellbeing and ensure the smooth running and high performance of our new Manchester league. The role would suit an individual who shares our passion for supporting women taking part in football and making health and lifestyle improvements.

NOTE: This is not a football coaching role; this role does not involve training the players on the pitch or instructing exercise of any kind. This position is about supporting and motivating players, facilitating a safe and effective session and completing league related admin tasks.

Role Overview:

The League Ambassador is responsible for ensuring all new sign-ups are successfully onboarded, managing on-site coordination, and fostering a positive, inclusive player community. This role involves both administrative and people-focused tasks, supporting smooth operations and creating an enjoyable experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact all new sign-ups to guide them through and complete the registration process.
  • Act as the primary point of contact at the facility, handling queries and providing assistance.
  • Maintain accurate records of registrations and participant information.
  • Liaise with facility staff to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery.
  • Liaise with referees to ensure matches run smoothly and fairly.
  • Liaise with local FA officials, garnering their support.
  • Organise friendly matches during season changeovers.
  • Organise players into balanced teams based on ability and fitness levels.
  • Encourage players to support and motivate each other, fostering a positive team spirit.
  • Organise outside activities, such as nights out, sporting events, and social gatherings.
