The role would suit an individual who shares our passion for supporting women taking part in football and making health and lifestyle improvements.

NOTE: This is not a football coaching role; this role does not involve training the players on the pitch or instructing exercise of any kind. This position is about supporting and motivating players, facilitating a safe and effective session and completing league related admin tasks.

About you:

  • Above all, we’re looking for a true team player—someone who puts their heart into what they do.
  • We value attitude over traditional qualifications, so if this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
  • This could be the perfect role for you if:
  • Passionate about Women’s Football and Sport
  • You’re organised and great at managing your time
  • You communicate clearly and confidently
  • You’re comfortable using a computer (some online data entry is involved, and you’ll need your own device)
  • You hold a current First Aid qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • You have your own transport (as equipment will need to be taken to and from sessions—full training and equipment will be provided)

Role Overview:

The League Ambassador is responsible for ensuring all new sign-ups are successfully onboarded, managing on-site coordination, and fostering a positive, inclusive player community. This role involves both administrative and people-focused tasks, supporting smooth operations and creating an enjoyable experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact all new sign-ups to guide them through and complete the registration process.
  • Act as the primary point of contact at the facility, handling queries and providing assistance.
  • Maintain accurate records of registrations and participant information.
  • Liaise with facility staff to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery.
  • Liaise with referees to ensure matches run smoothly and fairly.
  • Liaise with local FA officials, garnering their support.
  • Organise friendly matches during season changeovers.
  • Organise players into balanced teams based on ability and fitness levels.
  • Encourage players to support and motivate each other, fostering a positive team spirit.
  • Organise outside activities, such as nights out, sporting events, and social gatherings.
