Percival are excited to be working exclusively with Empower Youth Zones to help them recruit for a new Corporate Partnerships Manager to join their vibrant team. Empower Youth Zones is the charity that oversees the operations of the award-winning youth charity HideOut Youth Zone in Gorton, and the new Salford Youth Zone. Open 7 days a week, each youth zone has state-of-the-art facilities including a 3G pitch, climbing wall, gym, sports hall and recreation area, and dance, arts, music and media suites.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic business development professional to lead on a developing Corporate Partnerships pipeline to secure funding for both sites.
- Reports to: Senior Philanthropy Manager
- Salary: £34,159
- Working Pattern: Full Time, Permanent
- Location: 4x per week in the office across HideOut (M12) and Salford Youth Zone (M6)
Working in a small and mighty fundraising team, you will make a significant contribution to securing a legacy for thousands of local young people through the generation of new corporate income, seeking donations between £10,000-£25,000. Responsible for shaping and delivering Empower’s corporate fundraising plan, you will look to capitalise on opportunities like charity of the year, corporate events, driving up corporate volunteering, payroll giving and digital fundraising.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience and track record of personally securing four and five figure gifts (or strong transferable experience in a BD or sales role).
- Experience of developing a new pipeline of prospective donors/clients/customers and being pro-active in converting these to achieve targets.
- Experience of delivering effective and practical engagement and cultivation strategies for clients.
- Demonstrable experience hitting and exceeding financial and non-financial targets.
- Be confident in making ‘the ask’.
- An underlying passion for youth work.
