Anelec (part of the Empower Group) is seeking a Plumber to play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality plumbing and heating work across our commercial, industrial and residential projects. They will install, maintain and repair hot and cold water, heating, sanitary and drainage systems, including work on low-carbon and renewable heating systems.

This role would suit a qualified plumber with a minimum of two years experience, holding an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or approved equivalent). Candidates should have sound knowledge of hot and cold water, heating and above-ground drainage systems, and the ability to work to Water Regulations and relevant UK plumbing and building standards. A full UK driving licence is essential, as is a current DBS check or willingness to undertake one. Above all, we are looking for someone reliable, professional and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Installing, maintaining and repairing hot and cold water systems, heating systems, and sanitary and drainage installations across residential, commercial and industrial projects
  • Installing pipework, fittings, tanks, cylinders, radiators, boilers and associated plumbing components
  • Working on low-carbon and renewable heating systems, including heat pumps and associated pipework, where required
  • Fault-finding, diagnosis and repair on new and existing plumbing and heating installations
  • Testing, commissioning and pressure-testing systems to ensure safe and compliant operation
  • Working accurately from drawings, specifications and schematics
  • Completing installation records, certification and associated paperwork accurately and on time
  • Working safely at all times, following health and safety requirements and site rules
  • Maintaining tools, equipment and van stock, and representing Anelec professionally on site and with clients
