The Role:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in improving manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring the smooth operation of cutting-edge production lines. You will work closely with various teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that optimise both performance and cost-efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives aimed at reducing waste, increasing productivity, and driving cost savings across the manufacturing process.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements through Lean, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Support the design and implementation of new manufacturing processes, technologies, and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient introduction of new products or processes.
- Analyse manufacturing data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Champion the principles of Lean manufacturing and contribute to the development of strategies that optimise plant efficiency.
- Lead or support troubleshooting activities for production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure manufacturing goals are achieved.
- Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement across the organisation, helping teams adopt new practices and drive change.

- Knowledge of manufacturing systems, process design, and equipment.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience with CAD, CAM, or similar design software is advantageous.
