A well-established manufacturing business in the Paisley area is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to strengthen its engineering team. This is a busy, fast-paced production environment where reliability and quick fault-finding really matter, so they are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems and keeping machinery running.
The Role
- Working as part of an experienced maintenance team, you will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment and site services.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out effective fault finding
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime
- Working on a range of production and process machinery
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures
What We're Looking For
- Time-served Maintenance Engineer or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong fault-finding skills on electrical systems
- Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics
- A proactive approach and the ability to work well within a team
