We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals to support our Community Outreach Program, working on an ad hoc basis with hours that suit you. Empower Family Group’s Outreach Service provides rapid, short-to-medium term emergency support for children, young people, adults, and families facing acute crisis. Operating 24/7, 365 days a year, our team responds to complex and evolving situations with compassion, skill, and urgency, because those in crisis can\’t choose when they need help.
Every day, our resilient team offers stability, safety, and tailored support to vulnerable individuals navigating some of the most difficult moments in their lives. Joining our Outreach Service means becoming part of a responsive, values-driven team committed to making a real difference – anytime, anywhere.
We may have opportunities throughout Somerset and Devon.
Requirements
- Competent Literacy and Numeracy
- Understanding of people’s rights
- Flexibility and reliability
- Enthusiasm, motivation and commitment to working with young individuals and those with learning disabilities or challenging behaviours
- Committed to working in a person-centred way
- Ability to travel to different sites and transport young people where required

This Job requires no prior experience, as full training and development will be provided. NVQ\’s in health and social care, along with prior experience in the care sector, will be considered favorably though.
