This is a flexible role for a Tutor to work on a self-employed basis with Empower Educational Services. The Tutor will deliver personalised lessons to students, catering to their individual needs and curriculum requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing lesson plans
- Providing support with Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and/or Key Stage 3 content (depending on skills and experience)
- Helping students build confidence to make academic progress
- Tracking student progress
- Communicating effectively with parents or guardians
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status - Essential (ECTs welcome)
- Proficiency in teaching core subjects within Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and/or Key Stage 3 curriculums
- Experience with lesson planning, preparation, and delivering tailored educational support
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with parents and guardians
- Strong organisational and time management skills to balance multiple students effectively
- Experience working with students of diverse abilities and needs
- Access technology for remote teaching, including video conferencing tools
