You will work alongside the class teachers and support the relevant teams under the guidance of the senior staff. You will be responsible for working with individual pupils and small groups, supporting their learning and SEMH, and working towards reintegration into the classroom or the main school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support individual pupils and small groups with their learning and SEMH as part of reintegration into the classroom or the main school environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working with children or young adults, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting within the last 2 years.
  • The ability to be patient, resilient and remain calm under pressure.
  • We must be able to obtain valid references from these roles.
  • You will need to hold or be prepared to obtain an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service.
