Cantily Construction Ltd is expanding our reinstatement team and we are looking for an experienced General Builder / Carpenter to work on private residential properties affected by fire, water, and impact damage. This role suits someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, communicates well with clients, and can work independently across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reinstatement works following fire, flood, and impact damage
- First and second fix carpentry, plasterboarding, studwork, flooring, doors, skirting, and general building tasks
- Kitchen and bathroom reinstatement (advantageous)
- Liaise professionally with homeowners, loss adjusters, and project managers
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all H&S requirements
- Complete works to Cantily's high standards with accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS card
- Strong experience in domestic reinstatement or general building
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on site
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Eligibility to work in the UK
