Technical & Competency Manager Skyform Wind, Part of the Skyform Group are seeking a candidate from an engineering related background to work within the business to support in the following areas; Management of Field Technician Training & Development Training of internal courses Management of a small team of Workshop Operatives Assist with Engineering compliance activities Based at their premises in Hillington, the successful candidate will be joining a specialist engineering business that works in the field of wind turbine inspection and equipment maintenance. The business is a recognised inspection body in the Wind Industry and is accredited by UKAS under ISO 17020. Essential Attributes The successful will be able to demonstrate a competent engineering management background in wind or similar sectors. Hold a formal qualification at HNC level or above Be experienced in management Have experience of Training Understand Engineering Compliance Be Personable and able to work with a wide spectrum of people at varying professional levels Desirable Attributes A background in Training and development would be beneficial Formal qualification in adult teaching or train the trainer would be beneficial Experience of working in the wind industry As this is a specialist role the business recognises that training and support for the successful candidate.
