Mrs Sourdough is an artisan bakery, patisserie, and coffee shop in Chatham, Kent. We specialise in handcrafted sourdough bread made using traditional fermentation methods, alongside pastries, cakes, and savoury products all made fresh daily with a focus on quality and simplicity.
We are looking for a Sourdough Bread Baker to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site night shift role, with working hours starting around 1:00-2:00 AM, including weekends.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality sourdough breads from start to finish, including:
- Mixing, fermenting, shaping, and baking
- Managing overnight production schedules
- Baking using deck ovens and monitoring quality
- Supporting production of other bakery items when required
- Keeping the bakery clean and organised
Any additional bakery or pastry knowledge is a strong advantage. A flexible attitude and willingness to support different tasks is essential. You must be able to work night shifts (starting 12 AM) and weekends.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year (depending on experience)
