The Martlet Inn is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sous Chef to join their culinary team. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food, and maintaining exceptional standards of food safety and hygiene. You will be expected to support the Head Chef and step into the lead when he is absent.
The Martlet Inn is growing, leaning toward local produce, including supply from their own farm. They have been building a great relationship with local suppliers and many products are sourced within a 5 mile radius. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to develop leadership skills within a vibrant pub environment.
The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, supervise staff, and contribute to menu development.
