About the Role:
A vacancy has arisen for a competent and experienced Joiner / Property Maintenance Engineer to join a small team within a reputable contracting company. This is a full-time role ideal for someone who is proactive, energetic, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of planned and reactive joinery and maintenance tasks, including but not exclusively.
- First and second fix joinery
- Fire door installation and regulation remedial repairs.
- Kitchen installations and repairs.
- Door hanging, lock instillation.
- Window replacement, repairs and glazing.
- Basic woodworking machinery knowledge and skills.
Candidate Requirements:
- Please ensure you meet the following criteria before applying:
- NVQ / City & Guilds qualification or a minimum of 5 years\’ trade experience
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices
- Full UK driving licence
- A multi-skilled and practical mindset is highly advantageous.
