Thrive Fostering is looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join our dedicated team, where we put children and foster families at the heart of everything we do.
You will support a small caseload of foster carers, helping them provide safe, stable, and loving homes for children. This is your chance to work for an agency that values professional supervision, flexibility, and genuine work-life balance.
What you will do:
- Offer regular supervision and support to foster carers.
- Ensure placements are safe, stable, and meet children's needs.
- Complete assessments and reports (including Form F assessments).
- Liaise with local authorities and attend reviews and planning meetings.
- Contribute to foster carer training and development.
What we are looking for:
- Qualified and registered Social Worker (Social Work England).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in children's services, ideally fostering or LAC.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and organisational skills.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
