A leading Robotics company is hiring a Senior Robotics Agentic AI Engineer. Hybrid position - 6-month rolling contract, paying up to £2000 per day, depending on experience. Outside IR35.
Experience and skills required for the Robotics Agentic AI Engineer:
- Agentic AI, Robotics, Python
- Proven expertise in designing agent architectures using hierarchical or graph-based frameworks (e.g., Semantic Kernel, Smolagents, CrewAI, AutoGen) for goal-oriented reasoning, contextual understanding, and dynamic skill utilization.
- Hands-on experience integrating large language models and visuo-motor policies for complex task planning, constraint handling, and real-time error recovery.
- Demonstrated ability to orchestrate and schedule bimanual manipulation skills derived from teleoperation, human demonstrations, and simulation into robust, scalable task graphs.
- Experience developing adaptive meta-controllers that leverage sensory feedback to refine and adjust skills during task execution.
- Strong proficiency in writing production-grade Python or C++ code for training, evaluating, and deploying robotic policies, particularly on custom hardware platforms.
- Fluency with modern ML toolchains (PyTorch/JAX, RL or behaviour-cloning libraries, agentic frameworks, MCP, distributed training workflows).
- Track record of leading cross-functional design reviews.
