The work is varied, and they'd be particularly interested to hear from you if you have experience on site, pricing and dealing with direct labour and subcontractors, time sheets etc.

They offer an exceptional benefits package:

  • Be part of the company profit share scheme (9.33% of base salary achieved last year)
  • Private mileage scheme and a fuel card
  • Enhanced employer pension contribution of up to 7% OR a savings scheme
  • Life, Medical and Permanent Health Insurance

  • Trade discounts from preferred suppliers for you and your friends and family, and Specsavers vouchers

Specifically, you will:

  • Measure and prepare cost estimates for contracts and tenders, highlighting any commercial risks and mitigation for these
  • Prepare cost value reconciliations for contracts, identifying commercial risks and opportunities to ensure correct contract planning from the outset
  • Work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure productivity labour targets are agreed and issued before contract start, including direct labour incentives where possible
  • Build strong client, supplier, and subcontractor relations, to ensure any variations and progress of contracts are discussed and mutual, commercially viable solutions are sought
  • Complete and analyse weekly reporting from site, ensuring it has adequate cost information (including labour rates and performance expectations, budgets, value, progress, quality, and safety)
