Our client, a leading Managed Service Provider supporting a range of well-known businesses, is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join their growing technical team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment and enjoys solving technical challenges across multiple client sites.
Main Duties
- Provide first-line support and act as the primary contact for customers.
- Visit customer locations to diagnose and resolve technical issues when required.
- Log, manage and update incidents via the service management platform.
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding ticket progress.
- Escalate critical issues to senior leadership where appropriate.
- Prioritise and manage daily workload effectively.
- Monitor customer environments and ensure optimal system performance.
- Install, configure and maintain IT hardware and software solutions.
- Produce accurate technical documentation and maintain service records.
- Support incidents remotely and on-site.

- Competitive salary between £30,000 and £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in a similar IT support position.
- Experience implementing Cyber Essentials and GDPR compliance measures.
- Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Intune, RMM and VoIP/telephony system experience.
- Networking knowledge covering VLANs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls, switches and routers.
- Windows Server administration (2016, 2019, 2022).
- Azure deployment and administration experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with Windows 10, Windows 11 and macOS environments.
