We are seeking a Field Service Technician with a technical background in the repair and maintenance of equipment. In addition to technical duties, the engineer will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing excellent service, including recommending and selling relevant products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and set up printers and photocopier machines at client sites. (Training will be provided)
- Attending call outs and collecting copy cost readings
- Perform regular servicing and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Build strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional customer service, technical support and after sales service
- Identify opportunities to sell products, guide customers to suitable solutions, provide quotations and costings
- Up sell and cross sell photocopier-related products
- Complete service reports, documenting work completed, parts used, and follow-up requirements.
Requirements:
- Field Service Engineer background - at least 2 years.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Full clean UK driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites across Northern Ireland.
