We are recruiting for a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the accounts function while managing HR operations. Working closely with the Director and Department Managers, you will provide financial insight, accurate reporting, and operational support to drive performance and support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounts function, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
- Prepare monthly management accounts and manufacturer composite reports
- Provide financial support and insight to department managers
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and business performance
- Manage VAT returns, payroll, pensions, and statutory compliance (including HMRC)
- Maintain ledgers, fixed asset register, and financial systems (DMS)
- Administer manufacturer bonus schemes
- Liaise with external accountants and support year-end processes
- Manage HR administration, ensuring compliance with employment legislation
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a senior finance role
- Strong knowledge of VAT, payroll, and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organisational, and leadership abilities

- Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
