We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing business producing high-quality, safety‑critical products for global markets. This role will provide technical leadership across manufacturing operations, supporting process development, new product introduction and continuous improvement to drive operational performance and business growth.
You must have experience working with fibreglass, Polyurethane and adhesives, as you will be defining and leading manufacturing processes using these materials. This position would suit a Manufacturing Engineer with strong experience in production or assembly environments who enjoys leading projects and improving manufacturing processes. It will appeal to someone who is confident working cross‑functionally, driving innovation and delivering practical engineering solutions within a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Design for Manufacture activities to ensure efficient production of new products
- Deliver capital equipment and manufacturing improvement projects from concept through to implementation
- Support new product introduction through industrialisation, pilot builds and process validation
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, performance monitoring and root cause investigations
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to manufacturing and production teams
In return you will receive a salary of £60k-£65k depending on experience, enhanced company pension, 22 days holiday + Bank holidays, increasing to 27 days with service, life insurance, gym membership, cycle to work scheme and additional employee benefits.
