Are you a skilled Fabricator Fitter looking to take your career to the next level? This is your chance to be part of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, working on a secured long-term MOD contract. Join a dedicated team supporting the UK\’s defence industry by manufacturing high-quality equipment to exacting standards.
Main Purpose of the Job:
- To support production by ensuring a continuous process flow is sustained, working with components that require dressing, shot peen, hammer peen, and gauging, while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dress a variety of components according to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform shot peening and hammer peening operations as required.
- Gauge components to ensure they meet all dimensional and quality requirements.
- Support general housekeeping and labouring duties around the site – this may include emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, and occasional painting.
- Adhere strictly to Environmental, Health & Safety policies and report any hazards prior to beginning work.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area at all times.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Ability to follow technical instructions and quality standards
- Good attention to detail and work ethic
- Team player with a flexible and proactive attitude
- Willingness to carry out general labouring duties
