Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Controls Lead to work on one of the largest defence projects in the UK. The role is a hybrid role, with a few days consecutive on site every month (expensed).
This senior role has been created to strengthen delivery oversight and performance management across a diverse programme of defence infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for governance, risk management, reporting, and project control services, ensuring effective processes, accurate insights, and strong stakeholder engagement in support of the UK submarine programme.
Profile
This role will suit experienced professionals with a background in scheduling, project controls, or project management who are eager to lead, improve performance reporting, and drive delivery assurance. It is ideal for individuals with excellent stakeholder engagement skills who enjoy working in complex, high-value project environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project controls services across the MOD New Works programme, driving adherence to delivery processes.
- Oversee performance reporting and support delivery assurance.
- Manage stakeholder engagement across multiple functions and partners.
- Support implementation of infrastructure strategic objectives and continuous improvement.
- Align project cost with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6) and produce accurate reporting data.
