Job Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Mechanical Fitter, preferably with experience in conveyor systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years in a similar role and be flexible, reliable, and proactive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out mechanical fitting and assembly of equipment, primarily conveyors and associated systems
- Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on a range of machinery
- Work on client sites across the North West region
- Support and collaborate with team members on engineering projects
- Follow health and safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years\’ experience in a similar mechanical fitting/engineering role
- City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Full UK driving license (essential due to site-based work)
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
