Our client is a well-established manufacturing company operating primarily across the North West of the UK. They prides themselves on delivering high-quality mechanical solutions with a focus on efficiency and reliability. Due to continued to grow, we\’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Mechanical Fitter, preferably with experience in conveyor systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years in a similar role and be flexible, reliable, and proactive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mechanical fitting and assembly of equipment, primarily conveyors and associated systems
  • Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on a range of machinery
  • Work on client sites across the North West region
  • Support and collaborate with team members on engineering projects
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and company procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years\’ experience in a similar mechanical fitting/engineering role
  • City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Full UK driving license (essential due to site-based work)
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
