An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled Electrical Fitter to join a leading automation specialist based in the Stockport area. This position has been created due to company expansion, reflecting the organisation's growth across various sectors including Aerospace, Renewable Energy, Construction, and Food & Beverage.
Hourly Rate: £17.31 + overtime at a higher rate
Working hours: Flexible working hours - 38 hours per week (day shifts)
The Ideal Candidate
- Will have machine wiring experience.
- NVQ or equivalent
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams and wire accordingly.
- Build a variety of different panels.
- Deliver on-site customer support and basic training to new and existing customers, as required, and assist customers to solve technical issues with bespoke automation solutions ensuring technical scope is managed.
- Communicate accurate project status to the project leads enabling pro-active planning.
- Support the machine commissioning activities in collaboration with the commissioning team to a successful FAT & SAT.
In return, my client offers an hourly rate of £17.31 per hour, 33 days holiday including bank holidays rising to 35 days after 5 years and 38 after 10 years of service, pension contribution, and ongoing personal development and training.
