Due to increasing demand, our client is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our team. They are a well-established engineering company with a long history of excellence in the manufacturing sector.
This role offers a permanent position within a modern and well-equipped facility, with continuous investment in new machinery and employee development who also has commitment to training an industry-leading five-year apprenticeship programme, ensuring career growth and progression.

This role is ideal for an experienced CNC Machinist with a strong background in precision engineering. It would suit someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be adaptable, motivated, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machine tools, specifically the Toyoda twin pallet machine, to produce large components to exact specifications and tolerances.
- Support and mentor colleagues and trainees, contributing to their development as required.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures while maintaining high housekeeping standards.
- Work across a rotating three-shift pattern (early, late, and night shifts) and be flexible to work additional hours to meet business needs.
- Interpret and work from technical engineering drawings to manufacture components efficiently.

Salary
- 6am-2pm (£20.71 per hour)
- 2pm-10pm (£22.43 per hour)
