Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Waldrich Coburg Large Surface Grinder with Siemens 840D control, ensuring consistent high-quality production.
- Produce complex components to drawing specifications, handling weights ranging from 25kg to 12,000kg.
- Interpret engineering drawings to ensure parts are produced accurately.
- Apply knowledge of material characteristics and machining methods to optimize productivity.
- Work with minimal supervision, effectively planning workloads to meet production targets.
- Foster a 'Right First Time' mindset in a quality-driven environment.
- Adhere to the highest health and safety standards while performing duties.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating medium to large surface grinders is preferred; however, training will be provided to the successful candidate.
