Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking for a new opportunity in the heavy engineering sector? We are working with a business known across the UK for its lifting equipment, and they are searching for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join their well-established team.
Responsibilities
- Specification of electrical components, wiring, and cabling.
- Design and development of control panels.
- Creation of parameter sets for variable frequency drives.
- Collaboration with the shop floor team to commission and fault-find new equipment.
- Support junior engineers, installation teams, and end customers.
- Drive product development and validate new designs through prototyping.
Qualifications
- A minimum of HNC Level qualification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience using CAD software to create electrical schematics.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact across various business levels.
