Our Reinsurance Broking client is seeking an experienced Senior Reinsurance Technician to support a portfolio of complex Treaty Reinsurance business. This is a Senior Technical position that combines specialist processing expertise with mentorship and exceptional client service. Working closely with Brokers, Clients and Reinsurers, you will process a complex portfolio of Treaty business while ensuring a high standard of service and technical accuracy throughout the transaction lifecycle. Also as a key referral point for less experienced colleagues, you will work alongside other Senior Technicians to support the development of the wider team while ensuring the delivery of a first-class service to clients and trading partners. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Treaty Technician role includes: Manage end-to-end technical processing activities across proportional and excess of loss business. Support Treaty accounts across complex reinsurance programmes. Process premiums, pro-rata settlements and claims transactions accurately and efficiently. Prepare and issue client and market documentation. Liaise with Brokers, Clients and Reinsurers on technical processing matters. Maintain account statistics and support portfolio reporting activities. Provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues, acting as a trusted technical referral point. To be a successful Senior Treaty Technician you will have: Experience handling complex Treaty reinsurance business Excellent technical knowledge of London Market systems, including IMR, CLASS, ECF and LORS The ability to resolve complex or unusual technical issues and implement practical solutions Strong Excel skills, able to analyse and maintain account and portfolio data Ability to build and maintain excellent business relationships with colleagues, clients, reinsurers and other market partners
