Personal Injury Claims Handler in Norwich

This is an opportunity to join an experienced and growing Personal Injury Claims team, managing a caseload of Personal Injury cases.

The role would suit someone with experience handling Claims through the OIC and MOJ portals who is confident managing their own caseload and providing a high standard of client care.

Also someone who is looking for the opportunity to handle larger PI cases, as this team is keen to support your career development and to progress your experience of more complex claims.

As Personal Injury Claims Handler your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of Personal Injury claims.
• Handling claims proceeding through the OIC portal.
• Managing claims through the MOJ portal up to a value of £25,000.
• Handling claims outside the MOJ portal up to £50,000 with supervision.
• Carrying out quantum reviews and assessments and formalising case plans.
• Liaising with credit hire organisations and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Working in accordance with the Pre Action Protocol, Civil Procedure Rules.

To be a successful Personal Injury Claims Handler you will demonstrate:

• Personal Injury Claims handling experience with strong understanding of the OIC and MOJ portals.
• Excellent understanding of the Pre Action Protocol.
• Good understanding of credit hire claims and relevant case law.
• Experience reviewing and valuing medical evidence also of carrying out quantum reviews and assessments.
• Be confident, assertive and proactive with a determination to get things done.
• Have excellent customer service, telephone and fact finding skills.
• Have strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
