A well-established local Insurance agency is looking for a Customer Service Adviser to join their friendly, growing team. This is a busy, customer-facing role where you'll support existing clients, handle enquiries, provide quotations and help identify opportunities to cross-sell where appropriate.
What you’ll be doing:
- Handling incoming calls and emails and providing a great customer experience
- Providing motor and home insurance quotations and converting quotes into new business
- Processing policy changes, updates and general insurance transactions
- Supporting renewals and helping retain existing customers
- Spotting opportunities to cross-sell additional products and introduce customers to a Financial Adviser when relevant
- Keeping customer records up to date on the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Supporting proactive outbound activity to generate new opportunities
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in motor and home insurance (commercial exposure is a bonus, but not essential)
- Confident, friendly communication skills (phone, email and face-to-face)
- A genuine "can-do" attitude and pride in delivering excellent service
- Organised, reliable and able to manage your own workload and deadlines
- Comfortable using IT systems/CRM and happy learning new products and processes
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
