This is a brand new Commercial Underwriter opportunity for you to manage and develop the book of New Business and Broker relationships within our Client's rapidly growing E-Trade proposition, who focus on service, trading and e-trade product excellence.
Their appetite, pricing and quality of products means that Brokers are keen to do business with you. As part of a small and growing team you'll have significant numbers of Broker requests for you to decide on and action, in a successful and fast paced environment.
Also you'll help evolve their Acturis products and processes because of your market knowledge and Broker interaction.
As a Commercial Underwriter your main responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and underwriting of quotations across all products within underwriting appetite
- Regular communication with the Business Development Managers to maintain Broker relationships
- Working collaboratively to help evolve the Acturis products and processes
- Work closely and effectively with the Team to ensure that all work is completed within SLA's and to maintain Broker relationships by offering a high level of customer service
- Operate in accordance within the Underwriting License and refer to senior colleagues for a collaborative approach
To be a successful Commercial Underwriter you will demonstrate:
- Commercial Underwriting experience
