Our client, a leading global Insurance Broker, is seeking an experienced Aviation Insurance Team Leader to join their specialist team. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from their London office.
What the day will look like as Aviation Team Leader:
- You will be responsible for managing key technical activities across the Broking and Placement process, with a particular focus on Aviation and Space insurance.
- A usual day will involve:
- Monitoring team activity and coordinating workload in line with SLAs by organising, prioritising, and making effective workload allocation decisions.
- Engagement with the Broking teams on large, complex, global Insurance contracts, involving multiple insurers and high-value insurance placements.
- Engaging with offshore partners to produce policy documents and invoice requests.
- Increasing the level of processing knowledge and driving continuous improvement in all areas of processing.
- Building strong relationships with colleagues, Brokers, Underwriters, and Network offices to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Technical placement advice to Brokers as required.
- Being a role model in the team by giving constructive feedback to colleagues to improve performance and supporting senior management.
- Producing and monitoring workflow reports to ensure policies are on track with performance targets.

- Capability to provide technical guidance and support to brokers on complex risks.
- Excellent listening, organisation, and presentation abilities.
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge.
