Employment Specialists Ltd is delighted to be recruiting for an Insurance Advisor to join an established Insurance Broker in Ipswich. This is a newly created position focused on providing exceptional service while developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities as Insurance Advisor:

  • Handle a diverse range of new business enquiries across multiple channels (telephone, email, post)
  • Conduct comprehensive fact-finding to understand customer needs and provide tailored insurance solutions
  • Develop existing client relationships to maximise growth through conversions, cross-selling and up-selling
  • Contribute to divisional business plans and budget targets
  • Work within company systems and procedures to maintain high service standards
  • Review policy documents for accuracy and coverage
  • Maintain detailed client records with information from insurers and customers
  • Represent the division professionally to Clients, Insurers and other stakeholders
  • Support colleagues across the division as required

To be a successful Insurance Advisor you will demonstrate:

  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Insurance knowledge in Personal Lines insurance (Motor, Home) would be advantageous
  • Commitment to professional development and willingness to work towards Cert CII qualification
