A well-established local Insurance agency is looking for a Customer Service Adviser to join their friendly, growing team. This is a busy, customer-facing role where you'll support existing clients, handle enquiries, provide quotations and help identify opportunities to cross-sell where appropriate.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Handling incoming calls and emails and providing a great customer experience
  • Providing motor and home insurance quotations and converting quotes into new business
  • Processing policy changes, updates and general insurance transactions
  • Supporting renewals and helping retain existing customers
  • Spotting opportunities to cross-sell additional products and introduce customers to a Financial Adviser when relevant
  • Keeping customer records up to date on the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Supporting proactive outbound activity to generate new opportunities

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in motor and home insurance (commercial exposure is a bonus, but not essential)
  • Confident, friendly communication skills (phone, email and face-to-face)
  • A genuine 'can-do' attitude and pride in delivering excellent service
  • Organised, reliable and able to manage your own workload and deadlines
  • Comfortable using IT systems/CRM and happy learning new products and processes
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
